Oh, and ladies. Men can use these essential skin products, too.
We know it’s brave to assume that every woman needs all these products. But, this list of essential skin products comes pretty close. Because, while we all have our own requirements, there are essential skin products that can help us all.
Just like a good pair of black jeans or a great handbag. Every woman needs these essential skin products in their life. Don’t worry, we’re going to keep this list short. This is why we’ve called it the essential skin products list.
From facial cleansers and creams to eye serums and moisturisers, there are essential skin products you should keep your bathroom stocked with – not just for a radiant-looking complexion but to empower it to fight the signs of ageing.
These essential skin products are your baseline.
Add to it if you want, but make sure you have these.
Okay, without further ado. These are your essential skin products. And yes, they’re as important as we’re making them out to be.
Essential skin product #1: Cleanser
You might be surprised that we didn’t lead with moisturiser. Yes, it’s extremely important and certainly a must-have, but for women, especially us who wear makeup, making sure we’re applying lotion to a clean face is essential. Can you imagine lathering a nourishing cream to a dirty face? What a waste. A cleanser is your first go-to product.
Essential skin product #2: Moisturiser
You saw this one coming next. Of course, we can’t brush over the importance of a good day (and night) cream. You already know all about why having both on your shelf is essential – one for the morning and the other for night time. Both satisfy your skin’s requirements at that hour. For example, your night cream won’t have ingredients that protect you from external triggers (like pollution or UV damage). So, this essential skin product really becomes two.
Essential skin product #3: Eye serum
A serum might not have been your guess in a round-up list of essential skin products but, with a good moisturiser covering the toning part, it makes room for a third essential skin product. And with your eye area being the most delicate (and the part of your skin that ages the quickest), it’s no wonder that an eye serum is an essential skin product.
Of course, there’s also face masks, under-eye patches, brightening oil and exfoliators. But, you can introduce these solutions as and when you need them. Keep things simple and empower your skin with these three first.
Oh, and red lipstick. Because nothing exudes confidence like a woman with red lippy.
